Nike and Palace Launch Manor Place: South London’s New Cultural Hub

Nike and Palace unite to launch Manor Place — a creative playground blending sport, art, and street culture in the heart of South London.

LONDON, U.K. — November 2025 — In a powerful fusion of sport, style, and culture, Nike and Palace Skateboards have joined forces to create something extraordinary for South London: Manor Place, a new cultural landmark dedicated to sport, creativity, and community.

Located in a historic building originally constructed in 1895, Manor Place reimagines the idea of a community center — blending skateboarding, football, art, and design into a free and accessible space open to all six days a week.

Reviving History, Building the Future

Once a symbol of London’s athletic heritage, Manor Place has been transformed into a modern-day playground for the city’s next generation. The venue bridges the legacy of sport with the energy of street culture, embodying both Palace’s bold creativity and Nike’s commitment to innovation and inclusion.

“We had an idea of creating a large space for the community that would be about skateboarding and sport, and a space you could generally hang out in,” says Lev Tanju, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Palace. “When we spoke about the project, we knew Nike was the only brand in the world that could make something like this happen. We want Manor Place to be something positive for London — a city that has given us so much — and we’re really excited to give something back.”

Inside Manor Place: Three Spaces, Endless Possibilities

Manor Place is divided into three distinctive zones — The Park and The Cage, The Front Room, and The Residency — each reflecting a different dimension of London’s creative and sporting spirit.

The Park and The Cage

This centerpiece combines two worlds under one roof. Above ground lies The Park, a polished concrete skatepark inspired by iconic London skate spots like Southbank, Stockwell, and the legendary Victoria Benches. Below, The Cage — a subterranean football pitch — comes alive on game days for three-on-three leagues, community matches, and open play sessions.

The design allows the two arenas to rotate and transform, creating a dynamic multi-use playground for skaters and footballers alike. The Park will host skate jams, girls-only sessions, and special events, while The Cage offers a stage for rising football talent.

“Manor Place is important for the next generation because it’s so accessible,” says Lenna Gunning-Williams, English footballer and Nike athlete. “It’s going to be a place where people can connect — and it’s not just for footballers, it’s for skaters and creatives too.”

The Front Room

More than just a gallery, The Front Room serves as the creative heart of Manor Place. It showcases work from emerging and established London artists, hosts workshops, panel discussions, and cultural pop-ups, and doubles as a retail space for exclusive Nike x Palace drops. This space celebrates the intersection of art, community, and collaboration — a living expression of London’s creative pulse.

The Residency

Supporting the city’s next wave of visionaries, The Residency provides studio space for six emerging creatives on a nine-month rotating basis. Participants receive the space free of charge and have the opportunity to exhibit their work in The Front Room, turning inspiration into exposure and opportunity. Applications for the next cohort open Spring 2026.

“Lev and I wanted to create something new, something that’s really community-based,” says Gareth Skewis, Co-Founder of Palace. “That’s a word that’s often bandied about without real meaning behind it. I want Manor Place to be somewhere safe and friendly where people can skate, play football, and discover new things — all just down the road from where Palace was founded.”

The P90 Collection: Where Sport Meets Style

The opening of Manor Place coincides with the launch of the first official Nike x Palace product line — the P90 Collection, a bold nod to early 2000s football culture. Designed for both skaters and football fans, the collection features shell suits, football jerseys, tracksuits, hoodies, sweaters, shorts, and T-shirts.

Each piece fuses the DNA of both brands — featuring Palace’s signature Tri-Ferg logo layered with the Nike Swoosh — blending nostalgia with modern performance design. The collection also introduces P90 trainers, an homage to the era when street football and skate culture shaped a generation.

The P90 Collection drops globally October 31 via palaceskateboards.com, Palace retail locations, and select Nike SNKRS regions.

A Landmark for London’s Creative Future

Manor Place is more than a collaboration — it’s a cultural statement. By transforming a historic venue into a space for sport, art, and self-expression, Nike and Palace have built something that captures the soul of modern London.

From free community access to creative residencies and cross-cultural events, Manor Place stands as a living embodiment of what happens when global brands reinvest in local creativity.

The official public opening of Manor Place will take place November 11 at 33 Manor Place, South London — marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both Nike, Palace, and the city they call home. The P90 Collection drops October 31 via palaceskateboards.com and Nike SNKRS (EMEA).
