On November 12, 2025) — Earlier this season, NextFab brought back its annual Holiday Gift Guide, once again showcasing an inspiring collection of handcrafted treasures made by some of Philadelphia’s most talented makers. The guide encouraged shoppers to forgo mass-produced goods and instead support local artists, small businesses, and the vibrant creative community that thrives within the city.

NextFab, a membership-based makerspace, has long served as a hub for artisans seeking education, hands-on workshops, and access to professional tools that help bring their ideas to life. The artists highlighted in this year’s Gift Guide represented the heart of the NextFab community, and every purchase directly supported the journeys of Philadelphia-based makers and entrepreneurs.

The 2025 Holiday Gift Guide featured more than 40 vendors, organized into five categories:

  • Jewelry and Wearable Art
  • Home and Workplace Accents
  • Heart and Hometown Gifts
  • Textiles, Apparel, and Fashion
  • Big-Ticket and Heirloom Items

Each category offered pieces crafted with intention, skill, and personal meaning. Among the featured makers were Shelisha Harper of the lifestyle brand NOSHADE, promoting empowerment and self-confidence; Andrew Moreau of Chachi Studios, known for sustainably minded furniture design; and Trebor Adam of the clothing brand I’m Good, which explores mental health, humor, and hope through fashion.

Shoppers also had the chance to browse the Gift Guide in person during NextFab’s Miracle on American Street Holiday Gift Market, held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1800 N. American Street. Attendees enjoyed direct access to featured makers, live demonstrations, hands-on “make-and-take” activities, and a variety of giveaways that added to the festive spirit.

Community members who wish to get more involved with NextFab can explore membership options at their website. The organization continues to share updates and behind-the-scenes looks at member projects on Facebook and Instagram, and through the hashtag #NextFabMade.
