A Growing Presence in the City of Brotherly Love

Dig Inn’s expansion into Philadelphia’s Center City neighborhood follows the successful debut of its Jenkintown location in the fall of 2025, continuing the brand’s deepening commitment to the Greater Philadelphia area. With each new opening, Dig Inn reinforces its promise to bring responsibly sourced, scratch-cooked food directly to local communities — one neighborhood at a time.

Founded in New York City in 2011 by Adam Eskin, Dig Inn has built its reputation on a simple but powerful idea: that real food — seasonal vegetables, quality proteins, and wholesome grains — shouldn’t be a luxury. The brand champions home-style cooking at scale, partnering with more than 50 farms to bring fresh, locally sourced produce to the table. As the brand’s mission puts it, the goal is to “build a better food system (one vegetable at a time) that offers a better deal to customers, cooks, and farmers alike.”

Spring Has Arrived — On the Menu

The Center City grand opening comes with a welcome bonus: the debut of Dig Inn’s brand-new Spring menu, arriving just in time for the season. Guests can look forward to bright, fresh flavors designed to celebrate the best of what spring has to offer, including:

  • Lemon piccata sauce — a bright, zesty accompaniment that adds a citrusy lift to any bowl
  • Roasted green beans with Calabrian pesto — a bold, slightly spicy riff on a classic side
  • Herby green rice — a vibrant, garden-fresh take on a Dig Inn staple

And for fans who have been waiting patiently, the cheesy cauliflower — a longtime crowd favorite — makes its triumphant return to the menu.

Fast Casual Done Right

Dig Inn’s fast-casual format offers guests the convenience of a quick-service experience without sacrificing the quality or care of a sit-down meal. Every dish is scratch-cooked in-house, with menus that rotate seasonally to reflect what’s fresh, local, and at its peak. Whether dining in, ordering for pickup, or arranging catering, guests can expect the same commitment to real ingredients and real cooking that has defined the brand since its earliest days.

After a brief period operating under the shortened name “Dig,” the brand made a celebrated return to its original identity — Dig Inn — in 2025, responding to an outpouring of affection from longtime fans who never stopped using the original name. The homecoming has been warmly received, with the brand leaning into nostalgia while continuing to push its menu and mission forward.

Join the Celebration

Whether you’re a longtime Dig Inn devotee or a first-time visitor, the Center City grand opening is the perfect opportunity to taste what the buzz is all about. Doors open at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 13, at 112 S 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Come hungry. Spring is on the menu.
