Philly’s Favorite Pre-Thanksgiving Party Returns: Turkey Day Tailgate Set for October 26 at FDR Park

PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 16, 2025) – With October 13 in the rearview, the countdown is officially on! Philly PR Girl, in partnership with presenting sponsor The O’Hara Home Team, is bringing back one of the city’s most beloved fall traditions — the 10th Annual Turkey Day Tailgate — on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at FDR Park from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., just before the Eagles take on the New York Giants.
A decade in the making, this milestone year promises to be the most exciting Turkey Day Tailgate yet. The event will once again rally local businesses, food vendors, and Philly fans for a high-energy morning of community, celebration, and giving back.
Supporting a Cause That Hits Home

This year, Turkey Day Tailgate is proud to partner with the HEADstrong Foundation as the official charity beneficiary. All proceeds will support their Donate A Turkey Dinner initiative, which delivers full Thanksgiving meals to families impacted by cancer. On Thanksgiving Day, the HEADstrong team will hand-deliver and serve these meals to patients undergoing inpatient care at the Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center — providing comfort, warmth, and a taste of home during a challenging time.
Live Entertainment, Philly Pride, and Costumes Galore
Entertainment will be in full swing thanks to Q102, with the always-energetic Rach on the Radio hosting the event and DJ Nico spinning beats to keep the vibes strong all morning. Whether you’re coming for the food, the football, or the fun, there’s something for everyone at this can’t-miss tailgate.
New this year: the Turkey Day Tailgate Costume Contest! Come dressed as your favorite iconic Philadelphian — think sports legends, music icons, or hometown heroes — for a chance to win big. Creativity counts, and so does Philly pride.

Don’t Miss Out!
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 26 and get ready to celebrate 10 years of community, tradition, and tailgating — all for an incredible cause.
