PUMA x Nahmias: A Fusion of Heritage and Artisanal Design

PUMA and Nahmias Reimagine an Icon The legendary Suede silhouette meets artisanal craftsmanship in a collaboration that honors heritage while embracing imperfection

The PUMA x Nahmias collaboration arrives as a masterclass in considered design—one that honors heritage while embracing the imperfect beauty of artisanal craftsmanship. Here, the legendary Suede silhouette is transformed through a lens of vintage romanticism and textural sophistication, resulting in a collection that feels both nostalgic and entirely contemporary.

Creative director Doni Nahmias approaches the Suede not as a canvas for reinvention, but as a storied archetype deserving of thoughtful reinterpretation. The result is a design language rich in tactile contrasts: distressed leather formstrips meet asymmetrical suede toe overlays, while deliberately exposed foam edges reveal the construction beneath. Hand-crocheted laces and delicate detailing introduce an unexpected softness, a gentle counterpoint to the silhouette’s athletic foundation. Inside, co-branded graphics whisper the collection’s ethos—”Let’s Be Friends”—a quiet affirmation of the collaborative spirit that defines this partnership.

Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, the collection presents three distinct expressions of the design vision. The “Vintage Red” grounds classic white suede in bold crimson accents and warm gum tooling, evoking the golden era of sportswear. “Vintage Black” offers a more subdued meditation on the same themes, rendered in shadow tones. The “Crochet” iteration, perhaps the most expressive of the trio, celebrates texture and color through hand-crocheted formstrips and a palette of refined pastels.

The PUMA x Nahmias Suede will debut on February 12, 2026, at an intimate gathering hosted by both houses at the venerable Maxfield in Los Angeles—a fitting venue for a collaboration that honors craft and community in equal measure. A wider release follows on February 13 through PUMA.com, flagship locations, and select stockists worldwide.
