March Movement With Meaning: Junior League of Philadelphia Announces JLP in Motion for Women’s History Month

As Women’s History Month approaches, the Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc. (JLP) is setting the tone for a strong and intentional March with the return of JLP in Motion, its signature fitness fundraising series dedicated to women’s wellness and community impact.

Running throughout the month of March, JLP in Motion will offer a thoughtfully curated lineup of fitness and wellness classes designed to inspire movement, support mental well-being, and foster connection. The series welcomes participants of all fitness levels and invites the Philadelphia community to prioritize self-care while giving back.

Rooted in JLP’s long-standing mission to uplift women and strengthen communities, JLP in Motion transforms fitness into a vehicle for meaningful change. Proceeds from the series will directly support JLP’s programs benefiting women and children across the region.

The March lineup will feature classes led by local fitness instructors and wellness professionals, many of whom are women entrepreneurs, spotlighting Philadelphia’s dynamic and diverse wellness community. From energizing workouts to restorative movement, the series reflects a holistic approach to health — one that values balance, strength, and sustainability.

“Women’s History Month is an opportunity to honor progress and invest in the future,” shared a JLP representative. “Through JLP in Motion, we’re creating space for women to care for themselves while supporting initiatives that make a lasting impact.”

Participants can choose to attend individual classes or engage in the full month-long series, making JLP in Motion an accessible and purpose-driven way to move through March. As Women’s History Month begins, JLP invites the community to celebrate women’s strength — not just by reflecting on history, but by moving forward together.
