Oliver Tolentino unveiled Gilded Dreams, his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, at Annex 417 during New York Fashion Week. Produced by F/ROW Productions, the evening marked the designer’s first solo New York Fashion Week presentation and introduced an immersive couture vision inspired by a distant celebration first imagined in a dream.

The collection unfolded like a procession through an imagined nocturnal gala. Jewel tones, liquid metallics and flashes of black and ivory met sculpted corsetry, intricate hand-beading, sequins, rich brocades and fluid draping. Detachable capes and boleros brought a sense of ceremony and movement, while precise tailoring grounded the fantasy with clarity and control.

At the heart of Gilded Dreams was Tolentino’s devotion to craftsmanship and his Filipino heritage. Handwork, color and couture technique were not treated as decoration, but as the emotional vocabulary of the collection — an expression of confidence, joy and imagination shaped for an international stage.

“Gilded Dreams is an invitation to step beyond the ordinary. I want each look to capture confidence, beauty and joy — where craftsmanship, color and imagination come together to create something unforgettable.”— Oliver Tolentino

The presentation welcomed an international audience of fashion leaders, designers, cultural figures, press and creators. With Gilded Dreams, Tolentino affirmed a point of view rooted in heritage yet resolutely contemporary — couture as atmosphere, memory and transformation.
