There’s a new kind of luxury in town, and it comes loaded, sauced, and piled high on a bed of golden fries. Mr. Fries Man, the viral fast-casual franchise born in Gardena, California — and crowned “the most unique fries in South Bay” — is making its grand Pennsylvania debut this Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2313 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia’s own Fishtown neighborhood. And LUSH is absolutely here for it.

Because yes, fries can be luxury. Don’t argue with us.

The West Coast Sent Its Best

What started as a California dream has become one of the most talked-about fast-casual concepts on the West Coast, and now Philly gets to find out what all the noise is about. Mr. Fries Man isn’t just serving fries — they’re serving experiences. We’re talking buffalo ranch chicken fries, honey garlic shrimp and steak fries, lemon garlic crab and shrimp fries, chicken bacon parm fries — the kind of menu that makes you want to cancel your dinner reservation at that overpriced restaurant downtown.

And for those who like to be in control? The build your own fries option is giving full creative director energy. Add wings with over a dozen sauce options and loaded baked potatoes to the mix, and you’ve got yourself a full-on feast.

Vegetarian? They’ve got you covered too. Mr. Fries Man is truly an equal opportunity fry experience. 🍟

Black Excellence on the Menu

What makes this opening even more special is the story behind it. Two local Black-owned food leaders are joining forces to bring Mr. Fries Man to Philadelphia — a powerful collaboration that speaks to the growing influence of Black entrepreneurship in the city’s booming food scene. This isn’t just a restaurant opening. This is a movement, and Philly’s Fishtown neighborhood is about to feel it.

Free Fries? Yes, Please.

To celebrate the grand opening, Mr. Fries Man Philly is gifting complimentary Jr. Loaded Fries to the first 150 guests at both 11:00AM and 5:00PM on Friday. That’s not just a giveaway — that’s a full luxury moment, served hot and free of charge.

Our advice? Set your alarm, wear comfortable shoes, and bring your appetite. The line will be worth every second.

LUSH Says…

Fast-casual has never felt this elevated. Mr. Fries Man is proof that you don’t need white tablecloths and a dress code to experience something truly special. Sometimes luxury is showing up to Frankford Avenue on a Friday morning, fries in hand, surrounded by good energy and even better food.

Philly, the West Coast just sent you a gift. Don’t be late. 👑🍟
