Sarah Burton has renamed and reworked the Shark Pinch Boot, bringing forward one of Givenchy’s most recognizable silhouettes for a new era of the house.
The boot appeared on the runway in six variations, spanning tailoring looks to eveningwear, each built from the same architectural logic. Burton’s design takes the original line and pushes it to thigh-high, elongating the silhouette while keeping the boot’s signature shape intact.
The defining detail remains the metal Pinch hardware — the accessory component Burton introduced in her first season at the house. Here, it returns as the through-line across every iteration, anchoring six distinct executions to a single, recognizable mark.
Across tailoring and evening, the Shark Pinch Boot carries the same throughline: couture construction paired with a confident, grounded femininity — the signature Burton has built into every collection since arriving at Givenchy.
